St. Vincent’s University Hospital is located on Merrion Road in Dublin 4. The proposed works associated with this application is the provision of a PET CT centre at ground level of a decommissioned section of Block P (Herbert Wing) where it joins with the adjacent Block G (Our Lady, St Camillus and St. Monica’s). The decommissioned areas in the Herbert Wing were previously used as radiology department and will now be used for Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computed Tomography (CT) scans. The areas of Block G were previously used for offices and will now be used for storage and office usage.
