The development would consist of an extension and alterations of the existing building to include: 1) The addition of an office floor level and canopy structure to replace the current plant structure at sixth floor level with setbacks of two metres on the East, West and South elevations and three metres on the North elevation. This structure will have a maximum height equivalent to the existing plant structure. 2) Re-location of the main entrance from the west elevation on Grattan Street to the North elevation on Grand Canal Street with proposed canopy structure above and re-arranged access stairs/ramp and feature lighting. 3) Removal of a block wall on the south elevation at ground level for replacement with glazing. 4) Building name signage to northern forecourt area. 5) Removal of railings on North, West and South site boundaries. 6) All associated site works.
