The development will consist of alterations to the existing station to include; the demolition of existing building and removal of existing 38kV and medium voltage switchgear and transformers; installation of 3 no. prefabricated modules to house a control room and 38kV and MV switchgear; 2 no. new bunded 38kV/MV power transformers to replace 2 no. existing power transformers; 1 no. new interface transformer; new house transformers and neutral earth resistor; new store room; new palisade fence and gates; new screen planting to front of station and western boundary; existing timber communications pole to be replaced with new; revised entrance gate and gravel access and associated site works.
