Works will consist of a new concourse (area 202 sq.m) linking previously granted planning permissions for Special Education Resource Suite (Reg. Ref. D13A/0073 and its Annexe Reg. Ref. D13A/0216) , to the previously granted main school extension (Reg. Ref. D10A/0689) to allow for full level access to and integration between the school buildings. The proposed works are all to the rear of the school. The proposal includes amendments to original levels of Special Education Resource Suite (Reg. Ref. D13A/0073 and its Annexe Reg. Ref. D13A/0216) to match in with the floor level in the main school, and associated modifications to the hard and soft landscaping areas etc. The works will include the provision of a temporary Special Needs Unit to facilitate keeping the existing school fully operational through the construction period.
