1. Removal of existing prefab classroom and prefab office plus demolition of existing boiler house and single staircase 2. Construction of a three storey extension (1,243m2) with metal pitched roof and roof-lights comprising classrooms, new stairs, offices, new boiler room ,stores & ancillary accommodation to south of existing main school building; construction of new stand alone two-storey PE hall (634m2)with metal pitched roof located on the north east corner of the school site ; construction of a new single storey extension with roof-lights ( 80m2) to west of the existing metalwork room and adjacent store; the provision of 4 temporary classrooms and temporary parking and site storage behind (to west of) existing building on the west campus 3. Redevelopment of existing school building including conversion of existing general purpose hall to provide music room and dining/kitchen/servery including two new doors to existing west elevation and 1 door to south elevation ; reorganisation of existing woodworking/construction studies rooms to include raising height of existing single storey roof and provision of new roof-lights. 4. Site works including the removal of 2no. pre-fabricated buildings, removal of one ball court , reorganisation of roadway and vehicular movement within school boundaries, provision of new ESB sub station, restructuring of parking provision to provide 41 parking spaces including 2 disabled spaces, bicycle parking frames ,provision of new steps and disabled access ramp, general landscaping; repair/reinstatement of existing south boundary; extension of existing oil storage tank; provision of new playing pitch adjacent to PE hall. Site works to include site set up/ hoarding and temporary construction entrances off Dublin/Carrickmacross Road . 5. The works will be carried out in two phases 1. Modifications to the stand alone PE hall building previously approved in planning permission CB12/1 resulting in a larger basketball regulation sports hall (increased from 15.8m x 26 m to 18m x 33m) resulting in a building with total floor area of (1,039m2). All other accommodation to be as planning permission CB 12/1 2. Construction of a new extension to the front (west façade of the school) facing onto the Dublin/Carrickmacross Road to provide a new canteen with kitchen facilities, housed under a pitched landscape roof with rooflights. 3. Site works including the relocation of two parking spaces currently located at the front of the school to a new location at the rear of the school, repositioning of existing sculpture at the front of the school, relocation of existing drainage routes, ancillary site works and general landscaping. Site works to include site set up/ hoarding and temporary construction entrances off Dublin/Carrickmacross Road . 4. The works will be carried out in two phases as per planning permission CB 12/1
