Subdivision of the existing Unit 1 at the CHQ Building to create 2no. Units viz. Unit 1 and Unit 1A. Unit 1 is to be fitted-out to accommodate office usage and Unit 1A is to remain as a Café. Unit 1 incorporates a Change of Use from Retail use to Office accommodation and Unit 1A is a Cafe (Place of Assembly), a Fire Safety Certificate (FSC) Application has been made to Dublin City Council (DCC) for this change. Following the issue of the FSC a Disability Access Certificate application has also been lodged with DCC. There only minor physical changes to the overall space in Unit 1, with limited alterations primarily limited to additional meeting room, toilet provisions, tea station, upgrading power, lighting and data provisions to support the office usage. The space is envisaged to support an eventual population of 150persons, however this occupation will be phased in over a number of months. The initial population is envisaged to be 80persons. The fire escape capacity is well in excess of the noted population for the facility.
