The proposed development consists of 2-Storey extension, measuring 809m2, to the south of the existing hangar building, to create an operation base for Bristow Group, consisting of the following areas: Ground Floor (404.5m2) of office space, an operations room, & recreation area for staff, and ancillary storage areas. First Floor (404.5m2) of sleeping accommodation for rescue staff, training areas, and ancillary sanitary facilities. Material alterations (86m2) to the inside of Hangar 2 to create storage areas, workshops, and decontamination/cleaning areas for aircraft crew.
