The National Indoor Arena Development constitutes the “Main Core building” of the National Sports Campus Training facilities. The signature structure ranges in height from 12m-17m. This Building incorporates Internal Blocks (A, B, C & D) comprising; (A) National Gymnastics training centre with hall, changing rooms, viewing gallery, press offices and ancillary offices, national indoor athletics training centre with 6 lane 200m and 110m sprint track , in-field event area, fixed seating for 400 spectators; changing rooms, stores administration: (B) National Indoor training centre with bleacher seating for 1600 spectators, changing rooms, café for 120 patrons, kitchen facilities, stores, athletics fitness and conditioning centre and building energy centre; (C) Sports science and medical centre with reception, offices, consultation rooms, treatment rooms, laboratories and service rooms, rugby training facilities consisting of covered synthetic floodlit (500 Lux) Half pitch and 6 lane sprint briefing rooms, offices toilets and stores; (D) Soccer training facilities consisting of covered synthetic floodlit (500 Lux) full pitch, reception, changing rooms, briefing room, offices, toilets, staff room, meeting rooms and rehabilitation gym with multi-purpose room, community (National Sports campus development authority) (NSCDA) outdoor sports changing facility with changing rooms, showers and toilets; 3 No sub-stations within the building envelope; and parking for 300 cars and bicycle parking. Immediate Landscaping, Engineering Works and the construction of the new Building as detailed above.
