Construction of a single storey extension to the west of the existing premises: new combi jetty; Extension to Existing Warehouse and office extension to the existing building. New/ relocated car parking spaces; new truck parking spaces and additional trailer parking spaces; amendments to the existing site entrance to provide new truck entrance lanes. Note: The Fire Safety Cert only covers the proposed extensions. The internal office alterations are exempt from obtaining a fire safety certificate. There will be partial Handover of approximately 80% of the Warehouse on the 30/4/2015 to facilitate wall demolition works and interim Fork Lift Charge station location. This area will be segregated from outstanding works that will continue up to the 19/6/2015 and Intermediate Fire Safety Measures, as advised by the Fire Consultant, will be implemented and uploaded to the BCMS at Pre-Completion stage for the initial Phased handover. (This Phasing was discussed with a Senior Engineer in SDCC prior to submission of this Commencement Notice and it was agreed to be a practical solution). Note:The Vehicle Maintenance Unit and New Truck Gatehouse will be a separate Commencement Notice as a separate Fire Safety Certificate is required for these buildings.
